J&J ROM
Photography is easy; all you need to do is to press a button. Capturing the personality of a person is the difficult part. And if it’s a couple, multiply 1.5x.
I was fortunate that Jason and Jeanie allowed me into their little world (for awhile)
I’ve been doing wedding and ROM photography for some time now and my conclusion is still the same as my vision when I started out many years ago.
We are humans, and the only way to produce photos that come with feel is the human touch. The camera is important but it’s just a tool.
Every time I talk to couples, I consciously put my photographer position aside. I try to see them as a friend, open up my personal life a bit and let them into my
world. As they see I am willing to be true to them, they also start to share with me their ideas and dreams.
I will share more on my thoughts on opening one’s self up and the human touch. Here is a little preview of the ROM
shots taken for J&J.
